Welcome

Welcome to mybeefok.com and Comanche Springs Ranch.

The Comanche Springs Ranch enjoys a rare and unique history. Nestled at the foot of the western edge of the Wichita Mountains and tucked along a bend of the North Fork of the Red River, Comanche Springs Ranch was originally part of the Briggs Ranch that was established in 1884. Comanche Springs may be traced back in written history to 1541 and expeditions of Spanish Explorers. The area was noted as a watering point and stopover on the Great Western Cattle Trail during the mid 1800’s. Comanche Springs is in its natural state today. The land has never been farmed and is a rare example of undisturbed native prairie.
Our cattle are Herford crossed with Black and Red Angus. We allow them to roam freely across the range and graze the prairie mostly undisturbed. This allows our beef to grow as nature intended, in a low stress, natural environment.
